I want to Alert only on OSPF ( ProtocolID='13)

NOT Neighbors in BGP

OSPF Neighbors is NOT Status FULL

Neighbors is a Node in NPM and not interface.

Node NPM status is UP

Something that look like that in SQL

where ProtocolID='13' and ProtocolStatus <>'8'

Can I do that without Adv. SQL ?

meant to delete a user but accidentally deleted the whole group which was called "vendors" and had many users in it. I really need it recovered. How can I undelete and restore it? Serv-U FTP version 12.1.0.8

It looks like Serv-U stores the user logins amongst the files in the program install folder. Which files / folder exactly however?

I want to migrate from one server to another, with differing version of Serv-U, so a copy of the entire install folder won't suffice.

The next thing I'm going to try is the [Import] button . . . I tried that pointed to various files in an OLD Serv-U version (v6.4.0.4), which clearly stores the users in a different schema, and nothing could be imported.

I do have the user base carried forward to a newer version that has a similar looking folder structure with version 15.

Has anyone received this error message when performing a fresh install of NTA 4.1. The flow storage server is configured and the connection tests ok. I am getting this error message on the polling server.

NTA 4.1 install error - "Invalid Orion Core Configuration Value. The registry value at HKLM\SOFTWARE\SolarWinds\Orion\Core\Configuration is not valid".

Is anyone else having problems with proxy settings on transactions?

The WPM player is on a standalone Windows 7 32bit (Not on a domain).

Group Policy is also set to "disabled" on "Make proxy settings per-machine (rather than per-user)".

Proxy server is open on port 80 on local address.

We are manually running Database maintenance on main Orion server on daily basis.Can anyone help me for below

1) As we are running Database maintenance on daily basis, still we are getting popup message daily stating that "Database maintenance has overdue"

2) Can we schedule this Database maintenance to run automatically for weekly. It takes more time finish. We are keeping RDP session active to complete this.

Kindly help me.

I created a report based off of the built-in "Cisco 3750 Stack - Physical Entity" report with only the fields we prefer to see. I'm trying to get that report to display information on the Node Summary page and only display the information about that node. So far when I try to add the report to to the page it doesn't show up in the list of reports. I have tried creating the report via the Orion Report Writer application on the server, but I am unable to find the fields that I am looking to report on. Has anyone attempted and had success with this?

Morning,

Not sure if my brain isn't working correctly this morning, but i can't figure out something that i think should be pretty straight forward!

I have an application with 20 components. They all use the Application Component View.

I want to change 1 of the components to use a custom view. I cannot for the life of me work out how.

Any help would be appreciated!

Excluding certain traps from alert rules?

Hello. Normally I like to do all the filtering of SNMP traps at source, so adding a rule to notify us is straightforward - forward all traps as an email, etc.

In this case I can't do so, so I need to exclude certain traps from my alert rule.
Specifically, I need to forward all traps that contain the string cdsAlarmMajor , unless they also contain the string tcpstat-v1 in which case they can be ignored.
At a later date, I'll also need to add extra exclusions.

The first section is straightforward - just put *cdsAlarmMajor* in the Trap Details tab.
I assume for the exclusion I should use the Conditions tab, then do a rule that says "Traps received where none of the following are true", and then have a separate line for each string to exclude but what do I need to put in the first half to replace SNMPvs-MIB:snmpTrapOID?

I'm trying to find out if the "Encrypted Windows Logon" is using Kerberos as the underlying protocol. I'm assuming the "NT Challenge/Response" is using NTLM but it would be great to know if that is the case for sure.

Second part of the question would be if there is a way to turn on Pass-Through authentication for "Encrypted Windows Logon". It grays out the check box for "Use Current Logon Credentials" when I choose it.

Good Day,

I am currently trying to set up SNMPv3 on my Cisco routers, currently I am getting the test failed with the error message (node does not respond with the supplied read write snmpv3 credentials)

I have reachability from the server to my routers etc as well as I have enabled the SNMP using the SNMP enabler on the windows server.

Please see my SNMPv3 configuration below:

snmp-server view Testing 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1 included

snmp-server group SNMPv3 v3 priv read

#snmp-server user Cisco SNMPv3 v3 auth md5 frostwire11 priv aes 256 test123

I have searched the fourms here for a resolution but nutting works so far.

Backed up configs gone for good?

Greetings,

I have NCM working perfectly to automatically download startup and running configs from all my switches as a monthly job.

I also have a monthly job that exports the configs to file.

Recently I changed out some switches for new ones and used the same name as the old one. Then I deleted the old switch from NPM.

Looking at NCM, I can't find the old switches or configs. this is expected as I deleted the node.

Are the old configs somewhere in NCM still?

I want to do a config comparison between some of the old configs to the new ones.

I still have the configs that were backed up to file, but would rather use SW to do the comparison

I want the old NCM back please!!! Not sure how thoroughly this was tested but its completely useless to me now.

The integration of NPM with NCM is less than desirable.
The ability to be able to right click on an NCM job and execute immediately was so useful before. Now you have to create your job at least 15 minutes out and if you take to long creating your job and then hit back all the information is lost that you typed for node selection.
Where is my selection criteria with the keyword "contains"? Now, its just and/or key word functions. What if I have 200 nodes all with the keywords 65 as part as the model type and or the name. However, the model doesn't start with 65 or end with 65 and could be all over the place. I would like to select a node with a model type that contains the keyword 65. This will help grab nodes such as 6509s, 6506s, 6500s in general. Before I use to be able to create a job and select nodes that contain the keyword 65 and then immediately execute the job and be finished.
what about selecting nodes based on the criteria "does not contain". You use to be able to do this and now you cant.

Not sure if others have the same complaints but I have all but stopped using this tool since the integration with NPM.

Connectors Update Error

Following an upgrade to v6.2.0 I have followed the instructions for updating the connectors using the LEM console.

After a short while I see an error titled "Connectors Update Error", detail "Synchonization with connectors repository has failed".

I cannot get the log forwarder to even open on windows server 2008R2? I keep getting this error when in launch the program.

I have tried installing an older version of the program, but still no luck I have ran this on server 2012R2 it works and windows 7 it works as well. I am needing it to work on server 08R2 though anyone else having this problem?
