I am trying to create new user accounts with the User Import Tool. When I specify OU as USER_ACCOUNTS, I get an error "There is no such object on the server". If I change the OU to Users, account creation is successful. What am I doing wrong?

PostgreSQL Install
Hello All,
We have NPM installed and using the (free) Microsoft SQL 2005 Express. I have hit the 4GB limit and might need to purchase a full version. Is there anyway to get Solarwinds to run on a PostgreSQL database? I'm not really that familiar with databases.

Bandwidth availability monitoring
I have several sites with multiple T1 lines each. The T1s will go out without us being notified. I need a way to monitor the available bandwidth at those sites so that I will get notice when the total is not what is expected. Any suggested tools for this. Currently I have to remote to each site and manually run a speedtest.

Verint v10/v11 Application Monitoring
Has anyone found any information on if or how Solarwinds can monitor the Verint Impact360 application? I had heard there are MIBs available, but since I don't have access to their support site, I am unable to look for them. I have been able to create a custom monitor for the UP/DN of the Verint services, but was looking for any other information that might be available.

NPM 10.2.2 List Resources selects all at random bug?
I dont know if this is a bug or if i am just seeing things but two times this has happend to me so far in the last 2 weeks and i cannot seem to duplcate the problem.
I was clicking on list resources for one of our nodes and on this node only a few resources are being monitored. but all of the resoruces showed up as being monitored with a checkbox next to each interface. for example below only specific items are montiored. but this time all even inactve interfaces were selected. I clicked on cancel and not submit to stop this. One of my co-workers was adding an interface to be monitored and it selected all to be monitored and then submited without knowing. This is bad due to the alerts we have in place which then sent out many emails for interfaces that were down.
Has anyone else seen this in 10.2.2 yet?

Windows Event View Logs
Hello,
I've purchased SAM, NTA & NPM products. Can some please explain the stepts to have errors in windows event viewer sent to a report or displayed within the orion web console.
Ultimately i'd like to have a daily report produced that shows all errors on our windows servers that are in event viewer.
Do i need extra software than the products i've purchased?

IIS 7.5 W3C Log Collection
I'm having trouble collecting W3C logs from a server running IIS 7.5 (using Lem 5.5 with all the latest updates). The FAST reader starts, but I never collects any actual logs. If I look on the server itself the logs are being written just fine, and I have the correct path in the collector settings. Is IIS 7.5 just not supported yet (I'm using the IIS 7.0 W3C collector on server 2008 r2)?, lem Thanks!

Delta reports on values from month to month?
Is there a way we can show a report on interface errors (as an example) that STARTED this month (only new since given time)
This means if my counters were at 123345 Dec 31 and while in Jan I got 1 error then I would see a 1 in the report not 123345+1
Can we do this?

Using NCM Policy Rules for Remediation
Hello world...
For some years we have had written a number of Orion NCM Policy Reports. These are used to check that parts of the configuration of various nodes or devices are correct. If the configuration is not, the report highlights the nodes that are not correct. This is useful, but we are now looking at going a step further and looking at using remediation scripts for each of the rules. This should allow NCM to resolve any configuration issues itself.
I have not been able to find any information on how to get the remediation scripts to run in NCM.
I have created a rule that includes a remediation script. I have created a report that selects nodes that do not violate the rule and nodes that do violate the rule. However when the report is run the remediation script does not get run for the nodes that do violate the rule.
What am I missing here? Is there something else that I am missing here that ensures that the remediation script runs?
If anyone out there has any ideas I would really appreciate any information on how people actually use NCM's remediation scripts.

What could be the reason a User cannot unmanage a node locally? Please advise.
Tried logging on the server side and able to do the changes.
Other instance is; another User can unmanage a node before but was not able to do so.

Alert suppression help needed
I need some help configuring a simple email alert suppression. I currently have the High Transmit Percent Utilization alert enabled, and need to suppress email alerts for only one particular interface. I need to know which type of condition to chose, Which condition options to choose, etc. The variables within the email message are: Interface ${NetObjectName} for node ${NodeName}. I can't locate and select the NetObjectName variable within the alert suppression fields, otherwise I may be able to do this without asking for assistance.

Beta General Feedback
I haven't had a ton of time to play with the beta lately, but I really like the ability to monitor interfaces via WMI. It's probably the one feature I was missing after the 5.2 upgrade, since I switched my Hyper-V servers to WMI.

Duplicate Update Titles in reports
I'm looking for a report that will display the name of the computer and possibly it's group membership with the total count of updates approved, not installed and installed, and the IP of the machine. Currently I have a report but it doesn't seem to make much sense. I'm seeing counts but they are for the updates themselves thought the computer name is also repeated. Some of these updates are duplicates across the row and just taking up space. Is there a way to craft a simple report rather than pages upon pages of information that would then have to be sifted through?

Following the release of Patch Manager v1.8 last week, we now move on to the next set of features to help meet your patch management needs. Below are some of the features we're working on:
- Support for installation of Patch Manager database on SQL Server 2012.
- Support for installation of Patch Manager server on Windows Server 2012.
- Support for installation of Patch Manager console on Windows 8.
- Support for managing WSUS-on-Win2012 installations. (Some of this functionality will be provided by Microsoft WSUS update KB2734608 and will be available to existing Patch Manager v1.8 installations.)
PLEASE NOTE: We are working on these items based on this priority order, but this is NOT a commitment that all of these enhancements will make the next release. We are working on a number of other smaller features in parallel. If you have comments or questions on any of these items (e.g. how would it work?) or would like to be included in a preview demo, please let us know!

Win8 & thwack - not so happy together
Trying to access thwack from a freshly built Win8 desktop and while the site functions mostly ok, the drop downs on the top of the page do not work and the communications areas do not display any content.
Is anyone else having the issue?

Unable to import Event Groups that were exported from the same device
Working on some BC tasks and found that I'm unable to import Event Groups and User Defined Groups that I exported from the same LEM 5.5.
I exported the rules from the device and deleted the items. Restarted the LEM and then tried to import the items back into the LEM. I see the import file selection windows and I'm able to browse and select the file, but after clicking open nothing happens. I have been able to import rules and filters. Any ideas would be welcome.
