SAM v5.5 RC1 - Component Monitor Ordering

This was a feature I have requested in the past and was happy to see/review it.

First I do like the interface and it does just what I had hoped for within the Template.  The ability to re-order on a per-Assigned Monitor basis is an added bonus.

Something I had expected with this feature, which is not what I am seeing, is a reflection of the order change on the Application Details screen.  A big part of the reason for requesting this feature was to have the ability to both move new Component Monitors up in the listing within the Template but the order really mostly matters if it is reflected towards the users through the Application Details screen.  So was that the intent with the new feature or is it working as designed?

Also, I was fumbling back and forth between changing the order in the Template and changing the order in the Assigned Monitor to see if it would keep things straight.  To do this, I started from the Application Details screen, followed the Edit Application Monitor link and then from with the Assigned Monitor, I followed the Template link, made changes to the order in the Template, Submitted the changes which dropped me back to the Assigned Monitor, changed the order in the Assigned Monitor, saved those, went back to the Template, etc. moving back and forth trying different things.  Everything with the order in each seemed to change and save but at one point I hit Submit in the Template and, it appeared to save but left me in the Template edit screen as if I had hit the Save instead of Submit.  Figured I just hit the wrong button, Submitted again and it dropped me back to the edit screen for the Assigned Template as I had expected with the earlier Template Submit.  I then wanted to see how the Application Detail screen looked and while navigating there, found that I had two Assigned Monitors which appeared to be identical copies of each other.  Was able to delete the newer one and all seems to be still monitoring as expected.  I have not been able to reproduce the steps that caused this so I am just passing this along as information.
